Hmm…where do I begin?

Hi, I’m Sarah and I love running. I love training and the inevitable unpredictability that comes along with it; weather, life, the limits of my own body, or conversely its surprising resilience. I run because it feels good and it makes me happy, which isn’t to say that I don’t have goals, but I’d run with or without a race on my calendar. I initially created this space to try to write about running, namely trying to reach my own arbitrary goals, but ultimately decided there were other things in my life that were interesting too. I probably don’t have to tell you that I also like writing.

I have a penchant for spicy curries, strong coffee, and dark chocolate. I love dancing in my kitchen and watching the world from my front porch. I’d rather be sweating than shivering, though I still get excited for snow days. I like getting lost in good books, and making my knitting needles fly, both of which tend to work out well in the name of recovery.
